Description:
- FIFTY PESETA coin, circular in shape, from the era of the Spanish State presided over by Francisco Franco Bahamonde, designed in 1957 and minted by the National Mint in 1958.
- Obverse: Bas-relief of the bust of General Francisco Franco Bahamonde, designed by the sculptor Mariano Benlliure Gil. It is unsigned. On its inner perimeter is the inscription “FRANCISCO FRANCO CAUDILLO DE ESPAÑA POR LA G. DE DIOS” “1957.” On its outer perimeter, it has a border of dots that resemble the shape of a teardrop.
- Reverse: Bas-relief of the Coat of Arms of Spain, with the Eagle of Saint John and the yoke and arrows at its base. On either side are two columns with a band bearing the inscription “PLUS ULTRA.” On the eagle's head there is a band with the inscription “UNA GRANDE LIBRE” (A Great Free Country). Inside it has the inscription “50 PTAS” and a ‘STAR’ with the year of minting inside “58”. Its outer perimeter has a border of dots that resemble the shape of a teardrop.
- Edge: Smooth with the inscription “UNA GRANDE LIBRE.”

Conservation and Damage:
