HANDMADE IRON KEY. OPENER.

Description:
- Old iron key, with a very peculiar shape.
- The piece has a strange shape. It could well be an opener and at the same time a key.
- The key is handmade, it has disproportionate and uneven parts.
- It is difficult to date this piece, but we think it could be from around 1850, or even earlier.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information about the place where it was made, the maker's details, or any other information.
Conservation and damage:
- The piece was found with a lot of rust, we have proceeded to carry out an exhaustive cleaning.
- Even after cleaning, a nice patina has been maintained.
- There are no cracks.
- The Object shows wear and tear typical of it's age.
