- Instrumental plumb bob from the second half of the 19th century without a nut and, therefore, incomplete. Bronze weight, with threaded spherical head.
- The weight is pear-shaped, 8.9 cm high, 4.6 cm in diameter and 365 gr.
- The body of the weight is made of bronze with an iron tip.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information on the place where it was manufactured, information on the manufacturer and data on its characteristics.
- It has a very good and beautiful patina throughout the Plumb bob.
- The quality of the bronze casting, and of the execution of the Plumb bob, is very good.
- The Plumb bob is probably made in Southern Europe.
Conservation and damage:
- The Plumb bob is in good state of conservation, having the Weigh many, but very small blows and rubs.
- The Plumb bob presents the typical wear of its time.
