Description:
- The Object on sale is the one that corresponds to the photos, which in turn are complemented in this Description, with the aim of providing a better knowledge of the Object, and never being a detailed exhibition of it.
- Incomplete Instrumental Plumb bob, from the First Half of the 20th century, with a threaded head, and without keeping the nut.
- It is shaped like a cylinder and cone, 7.3 cm. high, 2.0 cm. in diameter and weighing 94 gr.
- The Plumb bob is probably made in southern Europe.
- The Body of the Plumb bob is solid bronze, with a high percentage of copper, made up of two superimposed cylinders of different diameters and the cone. A very small iron head is screwed onto the top.
- The execution quality of the Plumb bob is very good, both the casting and the turning of the Weight, all with simple and very good finishes.
- We have not found any distinctive, brand or contrast on the Weight that could provide us with data on the place where it was manufactured, data on the manufacturer, as well as data on its characteristics.
- Due to the composition of the bronze, the Weight retains a coppery tone which has allowed it to retain its very special and unique patina.

Conservation and damage:
- The Plumb bob, considered as a whole, is in a good state of conservation, bearing in mind the following observations
- This Plumb bob has been well treated, having very few and small blows and rubbing, both on the edges and faces, all corresponding to a quite careful use of the Plumb bob.
- The cast iron of the Plumb bob has an imperfection in the meeting between the cylindrical top and the finishing ring.

Comments:
- Both the measurements and the weight are approximate.
- Very interesting as a collector's item and as a decorative element.
- Because it is inevitable the differences of tonalities between photos and reality, you must have in mind that the tones of the colours in the photos are not exactly the same as the tones of the real colours.
- The object shows the wear and tear of its time, as well as some stains. It has small flaws.
- The data provided here are not contrasted personal opinions.
DELIVERIES ARE MADE ON MONDAYS.
