JAPANESE ROUND RESIN BOX. S.XIX.

Description:
- Nice round box made of resin.
- The box is engraved with drypoint. The base of the box has a floral ornamentation with butterflies, which surrounds the whole box.
- The lid has a geometric pattern border, which surrounds it, while on the top there is a beautiful engraving of three Japanese women.
- One of them appears to be a noblewoman with her ladies, conversing in the palace gardens.
- On the inside there are white areas, which correspond to traces of resin.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information on where it was made, the maker's details, or any other information.

Conservation and Damage:
