Description:
The jar has two parts, the body and the lid, both in one piece, probably made of pressed glass. The outer layer is thicker, cobalt blue colored glass; the central layer is thinner, of milky white semi-translucent glass, and the inner layer is also thin, of cobalt blue colored glass. Externally it has golden stickers applied, both on the body and on the cover. For the type of design, and the characteristics of its manufacture, we think that it is most likely made in Murano. It is in very good condition, with tiny chipped almost imperceptible in the inner edge of the edges, both the mouth of the body and the lid.
Both the measurements and the weight are approximate. Very interesting as a collector's item and decorative element. Spectacular in an illuminated niche, with minimalist decoration.
Comments:
Due to the fact that the differences in tonalities between photos and reality are inevitable, we must bear in mind that the color tones of the photos are not exactly the same as the tones of the actual colors. The piece presents the wear and tear of its time, as well as some stains. It has small flaws. The information provided here are personal opinions not contrasted.
