- Beautiful lithograph of a fishing port. Signed and numbered.
- The lithograph is in colour and shows a fishing port with several boats. In the background we can see the port, which is part of the city.
- In the lower right-hand corner is the signature: Fran Val.
- In the lower left-hand corner the numbering: 31/200.
- The author, Francisco Val, a native of Albacete with a degree in Fine Arts, was a magnificent interpreter of landscape painting. He developed other pictorial genres such as portraits, figure paintings and still lifes, and was a virtuoso oil painter, both with a brush and a palette knife.
- Lithographic engraving. The print is made from a stone (lithographic limestone).
- The lithograph is framed; the frame probably dates from the same period as the engraving.
Conservation and Damage:
- General condition: Very good.
- The ink is very good, and it has a good stamping.
- The engraving has not suffered from humidity or insect attacks.
- It shows the typical wear of it’s time.
