Description:
- Medal representing the Canonization of Saint Teresa of Jesus, in her third centenary, of silver plated brass and of the First Half of the XXth century.
- Obverse: It shows the canonisation carried out in 1622, together with the three coats of arms, probably of the King of Spain at that time, Philip IV and of the town of Madrid.
- Reverse: Three other coats of arms appear, together with the following inscription: III Centenary of the Canonization of St. Teresa of Jesus. 1622 - 1922.
- Medal with flat handle and ring. Plain edge.
- The Medal is made in a personal style with great ease and excellent workmanship, achieving harmonious and expressive effects in the high reliefs.
- We have not found any Contrast or Distinctive on the Medal, which would provide us with information on the identity of its authors.
Conservation and Damage:
- The Medal is in a very good state of preservation.
- There is almost no wear, so it maintains a high quality in the high relief.
