MEDAL SACRED HEART JESUS AND MARY. PROOF.

Description:
- Circular medal stamped in aluminium, with flat handle and ring, probably from a religious association, found in the second half of the 20th century. The Diameter measurement does not take into account the handle.
- We think it could be a Proof medal. The proff medal is a piece that has been given a special finish, in which generally, the field of the coin has a mirror background and the design appears in a matt white colour. This effect is achieved by using special treatments and processes on both the coin's coin blanks and dies.
- The artistic quality of the medal is very high, executed in a very personal style and with great skill, achieving harmonious and expressive effects in the high reliefs.
- Obverse: The sacred heart of Jesus appears next to the phrase: 'Adveniat Regnum Tuum', which translates as: 'Thy kingdom come'.
- Reverse: The Virgin Mary under the phrase: 'Apostolatus Orationis', which translates as: 'Apostolate of Prayer'.
- Song: Plain without any inscription.
- We have not found any Contrast or Distinctive on the Medal, which would provide us with data on the identity of its authors.

Conservation and Damage:
- The Medal, taken as a whole, is in a very good state of preservation.
- Both the obverse and the reverse of the medal show low and uniform wear.
