Description:
Pretty little bank Isabel II. Coronation. This piggy bank was created as a reminder of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom, which was held on June 2, 1953.
Made with an alloy of white metals. It is composed of 3 pieces, the base and the two lateral bodies. The two lateral bodies join with the base by means of two tongues, and they are fixed to each other with a screw.
The piggy bank is made in England, as it is inscribed in the lower part of the base 'made in england 2'. It has the following inscriptions on the four sides of the top of the base: 'Elizabeth II', 'Coronation', 'June' and '1953'.
It is rare to find. Although it is a piggy bank, its usefulness as a piggy bank is conditioned by its limited capacity and small size, which makes it more a collector's item than a piggy bank properly speaking. Very interesting as a collector's item and decorative element.
