PERICO PLUMB BOB WITH WALNUT. BRONZE AND WOOD. S.XX

Description:
- The pericos are small plumb bobs that were carried by the master builders in their pockets.
- They were used to check the vertical, using them from a distance, and that is why they rarely had a nut.
- Even so, some parakeets have a nut, which allows them to be used as a support.
- In this case, the parakeet has its original wooden nut. It has an iron tip.
- Very curious and rare. The lower part can be unscrewed to reverse its position, leaving the conical part visible. Once used, it is unscrewed again with the apex of the cone towards the inside of the cylinder, for its protection.
- The perico is unscrewed halfway down the body of the plumb bob, leaving the thread on the opposite side to the usual one. This thread is small in size and large in diameter, with a medium thread and medium pitch.
