Description:
- Print from Rome, reproducing an engraving by Piranesi.
- The plate is large, probably reproducing the same size as Piranesi's original engraving.
- In the lower margin is the following description in Italian: 'Veduta delle due chiese l'una detta della Madonna di Loreto l'altra del nome di Maria presso la colonna Trajana salita al monte Quirinale'.
- Under this inscription, on the left-hand side is the name: 'Piranesi F' and on the right: 'Si rorida prefse l'autore a paoli due a mezze'.
- The panel is framed in a period frame, with a high quality finish.
- The frame is made of resin and painted red.
- Made in black monochrome tone, very well inked, centred with acceptable margins and with a good stamping.
- The fact that the engraving has some Distinctive, Mark or Contrast, is of great importance to be able to identify data such as the engraver, the artist, the place where it was printed and other details.
