Description:
Brass medal with a silver bath. It presents the wear and tear of its time, having lost the silver bath in the most outstanding parts, which provides an interesting patina.
Obverse: represented Pope Pius XII, through a profile bust, which governed the Catholic Church from March 2, 1939 to October 9, 1958. It has the inscription: PIVS XII - PONT MAX.
Reverse: Represented saints Peter and Paul, half-body. San Pedro is in second term, with a border on his head and holding two keys in his right hand. Saint Paul is in the foreground, with a border on his head, and with his left hand resting on a sword. It has the inscription: S.PETRVS ET S.PAVLVS.
The song is smooth. Between the song and the obverse, in the lower right part of the bust, it has the inscription with the capital letters CD, which probably represent the initials of the author of the self-relief.
Very interesting as a collector's item.
