Description:
- Incomplete plumb bob for the construction of the second half of the 19th century, with solid iron weight and without preserving the nut.
- The body of the weight is cylindrical and conical, 17.2 cm. long, 4.7 cm. in diameter and 1,512 gr. in weight, with a threaded head.
- It has a very good and beautiful patina throughout the plumb bob. The quality of the iron casting, and the execution of the Plumb bob, is very good.
- Along the body it has several channels of subtle depth, achieving a harmonious overall effect.
- The localized pins are made with a punch, which has a die at its tip.
- The number '5' corresponds to the size of the weight and the number 1.5 K corresponds to the weight of the weight, while, of the three initials 'B', 'Y' and 'N', we have not found data that can provide us with information, although they most probably correspond to the manufacturer.
- The fact that a plumb bob has some distinctive mark or contrast, different from its size number, is a very scarce detail and of great importance for the interest of the plumb bob.
- The plumb bob is probably made in southern Europe.

Conservation and damage:
- The plumb bob is in a good state of conservation, with the weight having several blows and rubbing, both on the edges and faces.
- In our opinion, the foundry of the Weight, presents a very small coquera that rather, seems a blow.

- Very interesting as a collector's item and as a decorative element.
