Description:
- Used 15-centimo postage stamp from Spain, 1930. Blue-black.
- On the obverse, within a rectangle, is the left-facing bust of King Alfonso XIII, in profile, in bluish-black and white. At the top, 'ESPAÑA' (Spain) is written in white. At the bottom, 'CORREOS' (Post Office) and 'CÉNTIMOS' (cents) are written in bluish-black on a white background within a rectangle, and '15' is written in white on a bluish-black pattern. In the lower right corner, outside the rectangle, is the signature E. VAQUER.
- The postmark is linear. The control numbers are visible on the reverse, though very faintly in blue ink.
- Vertical perforations: 14. Vertical perforations: 13.
- Horizontal perforations: 12. Horizontal perforations: 11.
- Printed on thin, good-quality, very light off-white paper, in a single bluish-black tone. The ink is very good, the printing is good, but the centering is very poor.
- No distinguishing mark, brand, or hallmark has been found that could provide further information about this postage stamp.
Conservation and Damage:
- General Condition: Good.
- The stamp has been recently washed, so the gum is missing.
- No tears or damage are visible on the stamp.
- The perforation shows some wear.
- The postage stamp shows wear consistent with it's age.
