- On the obverse, within a violet-brown oval, is the right-facing bust of King Alfonso XIII in violet-brown. 'COMUNICACIONES' (COMMUNICATIONS) in violet-brown, within a white space, on the upper side. '15 CENTIMOS' in violet-brown, within a white space, on the lower side. All surrounded by watermarks.
- Circular postmark not legible.
- On the reverse, the postmark shows through.
- Vertical perforation: 17. Vertical perforations: 16.
- Horizontal perforation: 15. Horizontal perforations: 14.
- Printed on good-quality, thin, very light off-white paper in a single-color violet-brown tone. Very good ink, good embossing, and poor centering.
- No hallmarks, marks, or hallmarks have been found that could provide further information about this postage stamp.
