Description:
- Used postage stamp, 50 Marks, from Germany, from the years 1922 and 1923. Blackish blue.
- On the obverse it has in the centre the numeral '50', surrounded by the legend 'Deutsches Reich Sünfzig Mark'. In each corner it has the '50' inside a circle. All surrounded by a watermark.
- The reverse is clean, with the exception of the postmark.
- Vertical toothing:18. Vertical perforations:17.
- Horizontal indentation:27. Horizontal perforations:26.
- Square unreadable postmark.
- Printed on medium thick paper of good quality, very light off-white, made in single colour tone Blackish Blue, very good ink, good stamping and good centring.
- No distinctive, mark or contrast has been found, which could give more information about this Postal Stamp.
Conservation and Damage:
- General condition: Good.
- The stamp has been recently washed and therefore the gum is missing.
- The paper is clean and has no rust.
- Teeth well preserved, except for a broken tooth on the left side.
- There are no faults or breaks on the stamp.
- The postage stamp shows the deterioration typical of it's time.
