Description:
- Colour print by Jan Van Goyen.
- Jan Van Goyen (1596-1656) was a Dutch Baroque landscape painter. He painted many of the canals in The Hague and its surroundings. He was famous for his influence on the landscape painters of his century. His tonal quality was a characteristic that many imitated.
- The painting depicts a busy street in a village, possibly in Holland. Several figures are talking and walking along the street.
- The print is glued only at the top to a piece of cardboard, which has a pretty green line around it.
- The print can be lifted, but there is nothing written on it. At the bottom is a description of the print and the location of the original painting, which is in the Museum Brunswijk.
- The print is good quality. Colour.

Conservation and Damage:
