RUSSIAN SQUARE LACQUERED BOX. HAND PAINTED.

Description:
- Beautiful hand-painted and lacquered box.
- From Russia, the box has two different signatures, which we have not been able to recognise. On the far right it has what looks like a numbering: '3.A.'.
- On the box is a sleigh pulled by three horses. Two figures are on board the sleigh.
- The same painting of the sleigh is found throughout the box, with the only differences being the colour. Each painting has the colours changed.
- It has beautiful floral borders, decorating the whole box. The interior is lacquered in red. It stands on four legs.
- It is a very careful and elaborate work, made by hand.

Conservation and Damage:
- It is complete and in a perfect state of preservation, with no breakages.
- On the inside of the lid, there is a small scratch on the red lacquered part, where some of the red paint has come off.
- It has small rubs and scratches due to use.
- The object shows wear and tear typical of it
