Description:
- Earthenware Dish of acceptable quality, made in Japan, probably in the Meiji Era (1868-1912), circular in shape, incorporating the 'Matte Black' of the classic Satsuma Style on the bottom.
- The dish is of medium thickness, soundless to the touch, enamelled in beige, resulting in a yellowish-beige appearance. The whole glaze of the Dish is crackled in very small fractions. The earthenware contains very small black particles, which could be close to the quality of stoneware.
- On the obverse side, the dish has a 'Matte Black' background, with several characteristic Japanese figures. A woman expressing tolerance and six men, expressing aggressiveness. All the figures are intertwined by a Dragon with scales in White Enamel relief.
- On the reverse, the Plate shows the beige enamel in its entirety, and the Seal of the Mark is stamped in its centre. This Seal includes a series of signs in gold on black, which probably identify the place where it was made and the name of the maker.
- After analysing the plate in detail, we have come to the conclusion that the technique used is mixed, using decals on some parts and hand-drawn on most of the plate.
- All these characteristics that the Plate has, provide a very interesting patina, with a very attractive and high quality appearance.

Conservation and Damage:
- The dish is in fair condition, with several defects having been detected.
- There is significant wear on the rim of the central circle, which marks a small unevenness.
- There are small flaws in the white enamel of the dragon, due to its manufacture.
- It shows the wear typical of it
