Description:
- Sculpture of a nude warrior, from the second half of the 19th century. The body is in one piece, to which the sword and the base have been welded. On the front of the base, and integrated into the casting, are the words 'HONOUR' and 'PATRIA'. The base rests on a green marble plaque.
- The warrior is very carefully proportioned, with a spectacularly harmonious overall result, highlighting the movement that his contemplation conveys.
- The finish of the bronze has been left unfinished, thus achieving the effect of a sketch or outline, which transmits to the viewer the sensation of strength and lightness.

- The sculpture is signed on its base, and the inscription 'E. PICAULT'.
