Description:
European seal for sealing, silver bronze, solid one-piece, with a Harlequin making the functions of small handle or handle. It is most likely made using a single-use mold, because, due to the shapes of the sculpture, they force the mold to break in order to demold it. The Harlequin is a man of a certain age, short in stature, with a mask on his neck, in a standing position with a sarcastic greeting posture, resting his right hand on his belly and raising his left foot from behind with his left hand. The artistic quality is very good, with a magnificent result of mini sculpture, at the height of the best Austrian bronzes, highlighting its proportions and the spectacular movement that conveys its contemplation. The Seal, that does not present execution flaws, is made with a great detail, taking care of its foundry, the completion and the auctions in all and each of its aspects. The silver has been preserved very well over time, being worn in the most prominent areas, where the bronze is exposed. All the characteristics of the stamp, provide a very interesting patina as a whole, with a very attractive and high quality appearance. At the base there is the surface for the seal itself, which is virgin, an extreme which increases its interest. We have not found any type of signature of the author, no inscription of the foundry, or any other brand that can identify it. It is rare to find stamps with these characteristics. Very interesting as a collector's item and decorative element.
