- José López Guntin (1929 - 1996) Galician painter. Oil and pastel were his main plastic material. He held several exhibitions throughout his life.
- As can be seen in the photographs, on the back there is a reproduction of a photograph of a painting by López Guntin which corresponds to our sketch.
- Attached is a document on the list of exhibitions held by the painter in question over a number of years. One in particular from 1957, probably where the painting was exhibited, is indicated.
- On the front of the painting there is an identification plaque with the name of the artist and the title of the painting.
- The artistic quality and execution are very good. The line is medium thick, which gives the sketch great liveliness.
- The painting is executed in a variety of bright colours and with great ease in the brushstroke.
- The details of the sketch and the handling of the colours are really magnificent.
- The frame and the plate are from the period, and were made specifically for this painting.
Conservation and damage:
- The painting is in very good condition. It does not need cleaning.
