Description:
- Sugar bowl or small sauceboat with double handle, modernist style, enameled fine earthenware, and with gold metal finials.
- Probably from the late nineteenth century, since it presents the first influences of Art Deco.
- The exterior is enamelled in cobalt blue, stamped with a golden decal, and punctually hand-repainted with gold paint.
- The interior is enamelled ivory white.
- It has the edge topped with a strip of gold metal, to which the two golden metal handles are welded.
- The base has a gold metal ring, on which the Sugar Bowl rests.
- All metal elements are worked with different watermarks.
- On the underside of the base, it has a gray Seal containing 'A Shield', bordered by the inscription 'SAGUERREMINES - SAGUERREMINES ET DIGOIN - FRANCE'. To the right of the Seal, the number '57' is stamped in gold.
