TABERNA PLATE. HIGH RELIEF EMBOSSING. S.XX

Description:
Pretty high relief, punched in a single brass iron, which probably had a black patina in its day, and is now almost completely lost. Only remains can be seen on the least exposed parts. The back of the iron is black, so it could respond to possible initial treatment.
The tavern scene is framed in the plate itself by four bars and dotted sides, which inclines us to think that it was designed to expose itself without additional frame. The iron has been coupled with an Art Deco frame, made of bronze, using the rear that was in its day the front of the same, with a circular perforation.
In the measurements, the screws on the lower side of the sides, which are not fully screwed, have not been considered. The back of the frame, has on its sides two vegetable tears, good invoice, fastened with a screw, and that could be recovered for another use.

Likewise, the entire Art Deco frame could be recovered, which are rather scarce, recovering its rear as a front part, for some circular element. Very interesting as a decorative piece. Spectacular in an illuminated alcove, with a minimalist decoration. Because differences in tonalities between photos and reality are inevitable, it must be borne in mind that the color tones of the photos are not exactly the same as the tones of the actual colors. It presents the own attrition of its time, as well as some stains. It has small damages. The data provided here are unconfirmed personal opinions.
