- Single-colour illustrations in black. Each and every page contains beautiful illustrations of that period, showing cities and towns, palaces and gardens, etc.
- Very interesting, being able to compare the evolution of each city up to the present day.

Book Description:
- Sewn binding of good execution, with guillotined cuts.
- Text in black single-colour printing, very good ink, with good stamping, and generally well centred and with good margins.
- Illustrations inserted in the text, printed in single colour in black. With good stamping and well centred, generally with acceptable margins, although in some cases the guillotine went too far and almost cut through the text.
- Text on tan paper, of medium thickness and regular quality.
- Maroon half-leather hard covers in the first volume, and black in the second volume. Maroon and grey cloth. Maroon and black leather spine, with good quality gilt stamping. Embossed spine.

Conservation and Damage:
- The overall condition of the Book is - The pages of the text are in good condition, some of them more tanned than others.
- The back cover of the first volume is somewhat deteriorated. There are traces of paper or newspaper stuck to the cover.
- The cuts are well preserved and with little soiling. The cuts of the second volume have small red specks.
- Covers have rubbing to edges and bent corners.
- The binding shows wear typical of it

- Both the Measurements, as well as the Weight, are approximate.
- The tones of the colours in the photos are not the same as the tones of the real colours.
- The Book for sale is the one that corresponds to the photos.
