Description:
- Two volumes, written in Spanish. Both religious and recreational books, interesting for their content and artistic visuals, with engravings made in steel, chalcographic, and of excellent quality.
- The work, recast by Joaquín Roca y Cornet, is adorned with exquisite plates depicting the most famous women of both the Old and New Testaments, engraved in steel by the most renowned artists in Paris and London.
- They contain multiple black and white lithographs, all full-page, outside the text.
- Two volumes. The first with 18 steel engravings, and the second volume with 10 engravings. All of them of women from the Bible.
- In front of each engraving there is a pink onion skin paper that was used in the past as protection.
- In the second volume, we have added the first engraving, “The Pythoness of Endor”, together with its respective onion skin paper. This particular engraving was not originally included, so we purchased the original and added it, achieving a perfect result.
