VIRGIN MERCY MEDAL. OH SINLESS MARY CONCEIVED. S.XX

Description:
- Oval medal with handle and ring from the second half of the 20th century.
- Medal with flat handle and original ring. Plain edge without any inscription.
- Obverse: The Virgin of Mercy appears, together with the following prayer: 'O Mary conceived without sin pray for us who have recourse to thee'.
- Reverse: The initial 'M' of the Virgin Mary appears, together with two hearts at the bottom.
- The medal is very skillfully made, with excellent workmanship and harmonious and expressive effects in the high reliefs.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information on the place where it was made, the maker's details, or any other information.

Conservation and Damage:
- The Medal is in a very good state of preservation.
- The obverse and reverse have some wear.
- It has small bumps and scratches due to use.
- It shows wear typical of it’s age.

Comments:
- Both the Measurements, as well as the Weight, are approximate.
- Very interesting as a collector's item and as a decorative element.
- The tones of the colours in the photos are not the same as the tones of the real colours.
