Description:
- Foldable travelling Stations of the Cross with seven sides, made of high quality leather, and very carefully executed. Fully modernist style, probably made in Spain in the second half of the 19th century.
- The front cover is inlaid with a Crucifix, and has iron stamps with a beautiful floral design in gilt and red.
- The back cover is embossed with ironwork in gilt and gilt.
- The Stations of the Cross is unfolded, and on the front of each side there are two medals with the Stations of the Cross on each of them. The reverse of each side is lined with silk.
- The Stations of the Cross is closed with a strap attached to the front cover which is fastened with a clip attached to the back cover.
- The Medals are signed with the inscription of initials, which seem to correspond to the letter E. and the letter T. Whether the object has any Distinctive, Mark or Contrast, is of great importance in order to identify data such as its author, the place where it was made and other details.
- The Medals are made of a white metal alloy, the crowns of Jesus having been gilded.
- The Crucifix has the wooden cross inlaid in the front cover, and both the Christ and the sign with the acronym INRI are made of a white metal alloy, which could be silver. Like Jesus on the Medals, the Christ has a golden crown.
- All these characteristics that the Stations of the Cross has, provide a very interesting patina, with a very attractive and quality appearance.
Conservation and damage:
- The Stations of the Cross, taken as a whole, are in a very good state of conservation.
- The gilding of the crowns of Jesus shows some wear. The gilding of the crown corresponding to the First Station is very worn, and that of the Eighth Station is almost lost.
- The Christ is preserved without any wear, while the Medals are clear and sharp. All of these could be cleaned, but this would have to be done with great care.
- The leather has some rubbing on the outermost parts of the Stations of the Cross.
- The Object shows wear typical of it's age.

Comments:
- Both the measurements and the weight are approximate.

- Very interesting as a collector's item and decorative element.

- The tones of the colours in the photos are not the same as the tones of the real colours.

- The object for sale is the one that corresponds to the photos.

- The description is not a detailed description of the object.
