YOU AND ME MUGS. GOLD PLATED PORCELAIN. S.XX

Description:
- Set of two porcelain cups. The inner part is gold plated, and there is also a row on both the outer rim and the handle.
- The plates of the set are not preserved.
- On the bottom of each of the cups is written: You - Me. They are a pair.
- On the outside of both mugs is a pink floral decoration, the same on both mugs.
- The mug has a medium thickness, with sound to the touch, made of fine porcelain, giving a very elegant looking result. Glazed.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information on where it was made, the maker's details, or any other information.

Conservation and Damage:
- The cups are in a perfect state of preservation.
- They retain a nice period patina.
- There are no hairs or pitting.
- The gilt row on the outer rim has some areas with small flaws, due to time and use.
- The object shows wear typical of it’s age.

Comments:
- Both the measurements and the weight are approximate.
- Very interesting as a collector's item and as a decorative element.
