Description:
- Circular medal of the Holy Year of Compostela, made in silver and stamped. It is dated 1948.
- Medal with flat handle and original ring. Plain edge without any inscription.
- Obverse: The bust of Santiago de Compostela appears, executed in great detail.
- The Compostelan Holy Year, also known as the Jacobean Holy Year, is a Catholic celebration that takes place in the Spanish city of Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, in the years when the 25th of July falls on a Sunday.
- Reverse: It has only the inscription 'Holy Year 1948'.
